Miko's 6 Yrs Old BDay - Hotpot Dinner with SMPS Classmates

On 20 Dec 2008, Boo Boo & Baby's daughter, Miko are 6 yrs old law!!  Congrats!!  Time flies and I still remember Miko was just as small as my hand.  

Just for coincident, my primary school classmates have come to have a hotpot dinner gathering with us and thus, this gathering became Miko's birthday party!!  Thanks all uncles and aunties for their gifts to Miko Baboota and Meow8!

We all have lots of fun that night!  All my classmates love them so much as keep on taking photos with them!  Wishes we can have next gathering with more classmates as soon as possible!

A Sunshine Lunch @ Home

It wasn't too cold on last Sunday and we woke up at noon.  I planned to do some gardening on the day cos in winter time, plants are dead easily if you didn't take good care of them.  Once I went up to the rooftop, I felt so comfortable.  A gentle breeze and warm sunlight!  So relax.  So, I decided to have our meal on rooftop rather than in dining room.  It was a simple lunch.  Menu was as follows:

1. 鹽焗雞翼

2. 蒸沙薑雞翼

3. 煎黑糊椒薄切咸牛脷 

4. 日式醬油薑蓉醃青瓜片

It was so warm to have lunch with our lovely doggies and cats! 

First Attempt: 日式醬油豆腐

Last Saturday, we have went to a 拉麵店 in Tsuen Wan and ordered the 日式醬油豆腐. It tasted really great! Thus, I tried to make it at home. It was quite difficult to make as you need to deep fry the tofu first. Yep, though it was not reach the standard of that we have in that shop, it was still very tasty la! At least, it looked good!

First Attempt: Homemade 生磨杏仁鮮百合露

It's really really very complicated to make this.  In terms of the costs, I think it is better to eat it outside!  I don't think I will make this again!

First Attempt: 日式涼拌公仔麪

Just a quick and simple dinner for myself as Dad Dad need to back home late!  This is very simple to make.  The sauce was bought from the supermarket.  All I needed was to slice the cucumber and boil the noodle.  Mix all the ingredients and was ready to serve!

First Attempt: 生磨腰果栗子露

This is the first attempt to make this dessert. I haven't referred to any recipe before but just made this according to my mind. I just think it should be made like this like that! So happy that my thought was right and it tasted really great! I can say, it's much better than those you have before! Though the process is a bit complicated, it's worth to make at home! All you need are 腰果, 栗子, cream, grinding machine and a pot!

My signature dish: 咖哩豬皮魚旦尤魚麵筋

This is my "N" time making this snack.  Many of my friends and my mom told me that my curry is very delicious!  Of course, I made the curry powder with more than 18 spices and that made the curry dishes so success. 

A happy BBQ with Family 6 Dec 2008

So happy that yesterday we can have a very nice and warm family BBQ at our home though the weather was so cold!  It has been a long time since my family last visit.  My sister-in-law Cora and my mom always ask me to organize the BBQ again and they're eager to try my cooking!  I'm very sorry that many of our friends would like to join our BBQ parties and so, we need to make prior reservation during the BBQ peak season.

My twin nephews Him Him & Lok Lok are 2.5 yrs old now and they're so lovely.  They didn't afraid of our MikoBaboota & Meow 8 and played with them.  

As yesterday was so cold and thus I specially prepared a dessert for my family, that was "生磨腰果栗子露"!  I haven't referred to any recipe but only try to make this according to my first insight.  Though the cost of this dessert was quite high and it was a bit complicated to make, I think it's worth as all my family members especially my hubby love that so much!  

In addition to the dessert, I've made the appetiser according to my mom's special request.  She loves my homemade curry so much especially asked me to make the "咖哩魚旦豬皮尤魚麵筋" with my homemade curry powder!  However, mom blamed me that not have enough for her to take away!  Hee hee, mom, I promise, I'll make that for you anytime if you love that!

The party was so success and all of us enjoy the food so much.  Thanks my dearest family members, thanks mom (and my Dad especially, without you, I will not have such good talent in cooking)!  Love you all!

We are so LUCKY!

After watching this video of Nick, I MUST say, we're so LUCKY!!

Actually, I'm not the kind of people that born with luck. Though I haven't faced with those "big big hard time", I still have to walk through some hardships. Frankly, I've blamed that why I should face with "such kind of problem", why "my life will like this", why "he/she is so lucky"............ So many "WHY". However, seriously, when I am getting older and older, I become more mature. I know nothing will be perfect and my life is much much better than others especially I can have Dad Dad. I tried to analyses the world, analyses people, analyses my life in different perspectives. I still have many desires but I know, I already have many valuable things such as Meow8, MikoBaboota, Families........
